Sleeve Notes

“Mumdance & Logos Present Different Circles” was a showcase of all the releases on the label, mixed with exclusive tracks from label heads Mumdance and Logos.

It was only ever supposed to be released as a DJ mix on CD, and the track splits reflected that.

It later got released digitally, but the track splits were kept the same as the CD, instead of releasing it as a one-track mix as was initially intended. This led to some people mistakenly believing that the mixed versions of the tracks (where you can hear the next track coming in at the end) were the actual stand alone tracks.

Mumdance and Logos started working together in late 2012 and have remained firm friends ever since. They have written a string of well received EPs and an LP together, curate a record label and events series called Different Circles and share a studio space.

They cite each other as a big influence for the progression of their respective sounds.
