Norte Sonoro is a multimedia project based in Monterrey, Mexico that seeks to explore the sounds of the North of Mexico through sound experimentation. It includes a residency program and a music festival.

Mumdance was a participant of the first edition in 2011. This EP was recorded over the week before the festival.
