 “Teachers” is an ode to the Daft Punk classic of the same name, that features Mumdance listing all the main influences on Mumdance and Logos’ music.

This is actually the second version of “Teachers.” The original was made for the duo’s 2015 album “Proto” but never made it to the final tracklist.

The original version appears in some of Mumdance’s radio shows around 2015 / 2016, which you can hear in the mix archive of this website.

 “Shared Meanings” is a compilation of 32 exclusive tracks, curated and mixed by Mumdance.

It came out as a free to stream and download mix, via a specially made website  www.sharedmeanings.com

The site features interactive artwork, sleeve notes from the mix, and writing by Mumdance on each artist featured.

There was a run of 100 collector’s edition cassettes of the mix.

All the tracks were available separately as a digital release, as well as a 12” vinyl sampler with five selected tracks from Mumdance & Logos, Caterina Barbieri, Peder Mannerfelt, Nkisi and Space Afrika.

“The Shared Meanings” launch party took place at Oval Space in London on 23rd November. It featured Speedy J, DJ Storm b2b Doc Scott, Dopplereffekt (Live), Lee Gamble, Logos & Mumdance.
