Tales of The Jackalope Festival
Mumdance got his university work experience placement at Vice Magazine
It led to him getting a full time position as their events manager
He worked there for two years from 2006 - 2007
In this time he put on many events and tours, but the two most notable were the Tales of the Jackalope festivals; 3000 capacity festivals put on in the grounds of stately homes.
Mumdance did the the programming, booking and events management, alongside events companies My Beautiful City and 9PR.
The 2006 edition was one of his first tasks when he started working full time at Vice, it overlapped with the last 6 months of finishing his final year at university. Juggling this, a dissertation and exams almost killed him.
Also whilst working as events manager he started "Mumdance" as an event at the Vice owned Old Blue Last. Over time it gained momentum and became his full time profession.
