Mumdance started off life in August 2007 as a monthly event at the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, London.

Bands included: Friendly Fires, The Ettes, Autokratz, Princess Superstar, Johnny Forgeiner, Maths Class, Dokkebi Q, Ropechain Spiller Kids and Leo Minor.
